A DJ's perspective
These aren't venue listings.
I spend a lot of weekends in some pretty remarkable places throughout Muskoka and the surrounding region.
These pages are not assembled from brochures, Google searches or lists of amenities. They are places I've actually worked — sometimes many times — and my thoughts on what makes each one different.
I notice the things that matter from my side of an event: how people move through the property, how one part of the day transitions into the next, what happens when the sun goes down, where the dance floor lives and how the room feels once it is full of people.
Mostly, though, these are places I've enjoyed being.

Brooklands Farm
A six-generation working farm with open fields, gardens, a sailcloth tent and a beautifully preserved barn that was raised in 1903.
It has the character people want from a rustic Muskoka wedding without ever feeling manufactured.

Port Cunnington Lodge
A quintessential Muskoka property where the day can move from a waterfront ceremony overlooking Lake of Bays to dinner at the lodge and eventually into the Heritage Barn.
And that barn was built for the party.

The Northridge Inn & Resort
Beautiful, eccentric, welcoming and completely unmistakable. A ceremony pier stretching onto Lake Bernard, extraordinary decor, incredible food and a dance floor beneath an enormous canoe.
Northridge is pure vibes.

A 50th birthday at Rocky Crest
This one is a little different. Rather than a full venue profile, it is the story of a milestone birthday at Rocky Crest Golf Resort with three generations, guests from around the world, 90s hip hop, R&B and Bollywood.

I've DJed weddings and events at venues throughout Muskoka for years. As I revisit them, photograph them and find the time to properly tell their stories, I'll add them here.

Wedding DJ in Muskoka
Knowing the venue helps. Knowing the room matters more.
Every property has its own flow, acoustics, logistics and personality. Knowing those things before I arrive means I can spend less time figuring out the building and more time paying attention to the people inside it.
I provide ceremony audio, wireless microphones, cocktail and dinner music, MC support and a dance floor built around the people who are actually in the room.
