Professional enough for the program. Musical enough for the party.

More than a dance

Music supports the purpose of the event.

A corporate event may need focused arrival music, energetic transitions, restrained dinner sound, microphone support and a full dance floor—all within the same program.

I work with planners, venues and production teams to make those transitions feel seamless.

Corporate event formats

Different programs require different kinds of energy.

Conferences & retreats

Arrival, breaks, dinners, awards, networking and evening entertainment shaped around the agenda.

Conferences & retreats

Isaac Team Strategy Day

A full-day company program that begins with live event production and ends with a high-energy team celebration.

The challenge

The Strategy Day begins with a talent-show-style program where each performance depends on accurate music cues, background tracks and clean transitions. Once the show ends, the event moves to a second venue, where the energy needs to continue rather than restart.

My approach

I manage the music throughout the daytime production, support the moments between performances and coordinate the transition into the evening celebration. At the second venue, the soundtrack shifts from program support into a full dance party without losing the momentum built earlier in the day.

The result

The experience feels like one connected event, even though the format, venue and purpose change. Three consecutive annual bookings demonstrate the Isaac Team’s confidence that both the production and the celebration will be handled consistently.

Why it matters

Strategy days don’t need music all day—they need the right music at the right moments. Supporting presentations, transitions and the evening celebration creates a more cohesive experience. Corporate retreat entertainment is not limited to the evening party. Music can help maintain pace, support live programming and carry the audience smoothly from one phase of the day into the next.

Staff celebrations

Fern Resort Christmas Dinner Dances

Annual resort celebrations where guests of different generations share the same dinner, dance floor and holiday experience.

The challenge

Fern Resort welcomes families, couples, seniors and younger guests into the same room. The music needs to appeal across eras and tastes while allowing dinner to progress naturally into dancing.

My approach

I adapt to the audience in real time, balancing familiar favourites, requests and changes in energy throughout the evening. Rather than following a fixed playlist, each dinner dance is shaped by the people in front of me.

The result

After years of working together, DJ in Muskoka has become a trusted entertainment partner for Fern Resort’s annual Christmas Dinner Dances.

Why it matters

Staff celebrations succeed when employees stop feeling like they’re attending a work function and start enjoying themselves together. The transition from dinner to dancing is often what makes that happen.

Multi-day programs

UCA Ontario Annual Conference

A two-day engagement spanning a historic steamship and a resort ballroom, with each setting requiring a distinct musical identity.

Day one

RMS Segwun

The conference begins aboard the historic RMS Segwun with cocktail music, dinner and dancing. As the ship returns to the JW Marriott, fireworks provide the final moment of the evening.

Day two

JW Marriott ballroom

Two days later, the program continues with themed dinner music, cocktail atmosphere and an all-request dance party in the ballroom.

The approach

The music changes with each environment while maintaining continuity across the conference. Elegant cocktail selections, dinner programming, dancing and guest requests all serve different purposes, but they still need to feel like parts of the same event.

Why it matters

Multi-day conferences shouldn’t feel like separate events. Consistent musical direction helps guests feel like every part of the program belongs to the same experience.

Built around the program

Music can support every part of the event.

Corporate entertainment can include arrival atmosphere, walk-on music, live production cues, microphone support, dinner programming, networking, awards and a late-night dance floor.

The right structure depends on what your organization is trying to accomplish and how you want guests to feel at each point in the program.
